Dearly Beloved of the Lord,
This is an exciting moment in the day of the Lord. We are a people that have been planned for, before the foundation of the world. At last, a many membered Body is arising out of the earth to do exploits in the Name of the Lord. No enemy will be able to stand before us. No powers can change God's plan. This is a day to be remembered in the annuals of creation.
At last, Babylon, the great harlot is being exposed. The Beast, sent to destroy our seed, is being cast out. The hypnotizing serpent of divination is set to be crushed under our feet. Who can stand before the Lord in this great and terrible day? He that has clean hands and a pure heart, whose eyes are looking into the Truth, and whose mouth is guarded to speak it forth.
There were three plagues spoken of in Rev. 16:13 as the sixth bowl was being poured out upon the earth. John said, "I saw three loathsome spirits like frogs, [leaping] from the mouth of the dragon and from the mouth of the beast and from the mouth of the false prophet." The Hebrew word for dragon is TAN-NEEN, which means "a serpent or monster preternaturally formed," which is in a manner beyond or aside from the common order of nature. Tan-neen also means "abnormal, supernatural, to prevail, strength, to master, or Lord over." The feminine word for dragon means "a lady harlot, hire, to present a mercenary inducement." The dragon is referred to as a jackal, serpent, whale, and a sea serpent, as in Ezekiel 29:3.
The Hebrew word for serpent is NAW-KHASH. This word comes from a primary root word which means "to hiss, i.e. whisper a magic spell, to prognosticate, certainly divine enchanter, enchantment, learn by experience." All through the Word, we see this dragon/serpent nature unfolding -- the enchanter, using magic spells to control its victims with divination, psychic powers being loosed upon the people. It seems each generation had a conflict with this force of idolatry which came under many different disguises, with its purpose to control mankind. Every race of people and religion have come under its attack.
During Paul's ministry, we see this dragon/serpent revealed in the Greek mythology he exposed in his Mars Hill encounter. Part of the Greek mythology was the "oracle" of Delphi. It was the seat of divination that operated in the arts of soothsaying. Remember the damsel of Acts 16:16 that was possessed by a spirit of divination. This word for divination in the Greek is PYTHON. The python controls its victim by wrapping itself around him so tight that there is no room for escape. The victim is controlled, then crushed to death.
This divination is so strong that a person is held in its power and unable to know anything else. This is a day when the mind of man is being controlled by these powers with witchcraft tendencies in the Body of Christ. People are asking, how did this get there? God is now opening our eyes of our understanding concerning this matter. Our ancestors of generations passed, having walked in the power of rebellion against God. I Samuel 15:23 says, "rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry." These two factors are out of control in our society.
The power of divination is the strong force the enemy is using against the Body of Christ. The enemy works in the power of divination to control the mind of man to suggest selfish, greedy, soulish controls that keep the person in bondage to his flesh and satan. How can this be??? Psychic powers from satan are loosed upon the earth to gain an entrance and control man's mind. Satan's very clever plan to play upon the unsuspecting person, whose eyes are on what he wants--he desires.

To better understand the soulish realm, I went to Webster's Dictionary which states: Soul: 1. The principle of life, feeling, thought and action in man, regarded as a distinct entity separate from the body. 2. The emotional part of man's nature. 3. Noble warmth of feeling, spirit or courage, etc. 4. The animating principle or essential element of something. 5. Embodiment of quality-spirit.
The word psyche or psychic is explained as the human soul, spirit, or mind. Divination power operates in the soulish realm through the psychic. It can take control and keep other thoughts from coming forth. If Satan can take control of our soulish realm, he will seek to produce his image in man through psychic, divination control.
Going back to the Greek word for divination -- PYTHON. Python in the Hebrew means "corruption." It is a serpent referred to as a dragon. In the natural, the python kills by constriction blocking out, and bringing out, and bringing death. With our spiritual glasses on, we begin to understand how the enemy controls the mind, not allowing anything in or out that does not come through him.
In Acts 16:16, the Amplified version says, "As we were on our way to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who was possessed by a spirit of divination, (in the Greek-python) [claiming to foretell future events and to discover hidden knowledge], and she brought her owners much gain by her fortunetelling." In the 18th verse, Paul says to the spirit within her, "I charge you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her! And it came out of her." Praise God!
With man's mind on his desires and wants, he hears what he wants to hear, and allows his thoughts to be taken over by them. The Word declares in Romans 6:16, "Whatsoever a man gives himself to - he becomes the servant of." Obeying the desires of the flesh will produce flesh control, (the soulish realm). Obeying the Word of God and living in the Holy Spirit will cause us to know the control of the Holy Spirit, which is God's Kingdom come in you, His image, with life everlasting. Satan would like to control man's mind by supernatural foretelling - escaping into pleasures and dreams that promise greed, and selfish fantasies.
Revelation 16:13 states, "out of the mouth of the dragon came spirits like frogs leaping." The 14th verse says, "they were really the spirits of demons." The word used for dragon here is DERKOMAL, which means "to look." A fabulous kind of serpent as supposed to fascinate, which means to charm, to hold irresistibly to attract. Satan is seeking to seduce, beguile, bewitch and control man, to charm, then to occupy.
We can see why God sent Jesus giving us an inheritance in Him. Philippians 2:5 says, "to let the mind of Christ be in you." This is not a causal statement. God means to protect His property. Your mind is not to be a dumping ground for every sort of evil, demon force that wishes to take you over. Romans 12:2 says we are not to be conformed to this world, but "be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove" is a key word here. Prove means to test, establish the truth, know. Satan knows when we are established in Truth, he can no longer deceive, or beguile us.
In Genesis 3:15, The Lord said He would put enmity (natural, ill will) between the serpent and the woman between his seed and her seed. Galatians 4:4 says, "But when the proper time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born subject to [the regulations of] the law." He (Jesus) will bruise and tread your (serpent) head underfoot, and you will lie in wait and bruise His heel. To bruise is to injure without breaking the skin, to crush by pounding. Christ Jesus has fulfilled this wonderful promise through His victory over Satan.
The Hebrew word for heel in Genesis 3:15 is AQAB. It is a primary root word that means "to seize by the heel, to circumvent as if tripping up the heels, to restrain as if to hold by the heel." Another word used here is IQQBAH, which means "hence to track the rear of an army, the last." The track is an impression left in the earth from a print heavy enough for you to see what it is.
There is a bruise in this last generation. The skin has not been broken. You can still see the family resemblance, a track left in the earth, the flesh name sake of man, even though some have come forth according to its kind. The man of sin, Satan, lies in wait to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus Christ came to set every captive free.
Isaiah 53:5-8 says Jesus was bruised for our sin, disease, and iniquities which is rebellion. Verse 8 says, who shall declare, "as for His generation, who among them considered that He (Jesus) was cut off out of the land of the living [stricken to His death] for the transgression of my people, was He stricken." Verse 10 says, "Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him." THERE IS A PEOPLE IN THIS LAST DAY WHO WILL UNDERSTAND AND WALK OUT JESUS' REDEMPTION PLAN BEFORE ALL THE AGES. The bruise of Jesus has taken care of the shapen bruise in man that has brought defeat down through the generation.
The heel imprint, according to Wilson's Dictionary of Bible types, indicates that satan would hinder the Lord Jesus in His earthly walk and would hurt Him, but could not destroy Him.
Genesis 49:17 says when the tribe of Dan received their prophecy from father Jacob, they were told they would be a "serpent by the way, an adder in the path that bites at the horse's (a type of the flesh) heels so that his rider shall fall backwards." This is saying there will be no new nature, no moving on with the things of God. Dan may be deceitful and underhanded in his dealings with others so that he would be a hinderer, a disturber of the peace and would prevent the progress of others. This is an attitude that must come out of the Body of Christ.
The imprint of the heel is in the earth. Job 13:27 says, "Thou puttest my feet also in the stocks and lookest narrowly unto all my paths. Thou settest a PRINT UPON the HEELS of my FEET." This is a figurative statement that our walk is MARKED before God. The walk of each person is different from every other person. It also has the actual meaning that every heel print is different from the print of every other heel. No two are alike. New born babies are often identified by the imprint of their feet being placed on their birth record.
When Jeroboam set the golden calf of idolatry in Dan, we can understand how the serpent bite (the divination) in the horses' heels, or the flesh, was allowed in the land. The rider shall fall backward. The imprint of stumbling, confusion, having no direction in that day.
Here we are looking into shadows and types. But what of this day (today) and the imprint of the heel of the body, bruised in the bloodline. Confusion, idolatry, pagan worship, men looking to things that please the desires. The skin not broken, yet the bruise is seen. This is a day when the battle cry, like a trumpet sound in the earth is "come out of her my people and be ye separate." There is a scheduled rendezvous in this day, where a great and mighty battle is to take place. Where??? In the mind of man!! Armageddon. Arma means "HILL" (high place), mageddon means "CROWDED." This is on the plain of Esdraelon, which is the Rendezvous and means "a scheduled appointed place to meet." It's coming, yea it is here for many. Praise God, WE WIN!
Revelation 19:20 says, "And the beast was seized and overpowered, and with him the false prophet who in his presence had worked wonders and performed miracles by which he led astray those who had accepted or permitted to be placed upon them the stamp (mark) of the beast and those who paid homage and gave divine honor to his statue. Both of them were hurled alive into the fiery lake that burns and blazes with brimstone." Revelation 20:2-3 continues, "And he gripped and overpowered the dragon, that old serpent [of primeval time], who is the devil and Satan, and [securely] bound him for a thousand years. Then he hurled him into the Abyss (the bottomless pit) and closed it and sealed it above him, so that he should no longer lead astray and deceive and seduce the nations until the thousand years were at an end." Hallelujah! Amen.
