Regarding Jezebel: In the 70's and 80's, the women rebelled. Jezebel was out of control with an attitude demanding desires, like a harlot nature. This produced women wanting to step over the laws of God. They began to look for fulfillment in the role of a harlot. At this time we also noticed a great surge of breast cancer in the women of our nation. That unfulfilled hunger had produced a decaying corruption that would bring death. This bitterness and resentment manifested in the breast of the woman, the place of the woman's ability to feed and nurture her children. The bitterness and resentment could be seen in the physical realm of the body, and the woman became the target of satan's destruction.

Webster's Dictionary - the faculty of foreseeing, from divinatus, pp of divinare, to foresee; the act of divining; the act or practice of trying to foretell future events of the unknown by occult means; a prophecy; prediction; augury; a successful guess; clever conjecture.
Divine - #7181 - a prim. root; to prick up the ears, i.e. harken: - attend, (cause to) hear(-ken), give heed, incline, mark (well), regard;
Webster's Dictionary - to prophesy; to foretell; to presage; to surmise; to know by intuition; to guess; to conjecture.
If you have not had DELIVERANCE from witchcraft, false gifts, divination, etc. and you are prophesying, giving words of knowledge or wisdom, you may be prophesying lies coming from demons!
Revelation 2:20 "But I have this against you: that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess [claiming to be inspired], and who is teaching and leading astray my servants and beguiling them into practicing sexual vice and eating food sacrificed to idols."
The Greek words for practicing sexual vice or fornication in the Strong's Concordance are numbers 4202 and 4203 - Harlotry (including adultery and incest); idolatry; to act the harlot, i.e. indulge unlawful lust (of either sex ) or practice idolatry: commit (fornication). Note: fornication was practiced during worship of demons.
At this point please be honest and examine yourself. You may say, "I don't practice idolatry." Well, idolatry is more than worshiping a statue. It can be a person, money, people, yes, even your church. As we learned in another article, anything that comes before God is idolatry.
The word Jezebel in the concordance speaks of the word Jezebel as a feminine word. Although, as the Scripture states this is a woman, this same spirit can be operating in men as well as women. This is what is going on in many of the churches today.
The Jezebel spirit operates in witchcraft. Witchcraft is control, dominance, seduction, etc. Even DELIVERANCE ministers and pastors have to be careful to guard against this spirit. It is so powerful that congregations are seduced by this spirit. Most of the time the people in the congregation can not see this spirit until they come out from under the teaching, control and dominance of that church AND receive DELIVERANCE.
This spirit is so strong and powerful that Elijah was so afraid that he ran from this spirit and hid for fear of Jezebel killing him. However, as we know the story of Elijah and Jezebel we know that the Lord JESUS is more powerful than any demon. But to let the people of God know the wiles of the devil we have to let them know how a demon operates.
Stan and I were given a Prophecy from the Lord, and in this Prophecy the Lord said, "Spring forth now with this end-time move for MY PEOPLE ARE DYING. Bring forth now My vision to the earth...saith God". This is what we are trying to do with the Internet site. God wants the true DELIVERANCE of JESUS taught for His people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. We must be strong and go forth and do the works that JESUS did for the night comes when no man can work. John 9:4
Back to Jezebel... Divination is rising its ugly head in the churches today. You see it on television and we hear of it from people who come for DELIVERANCE. This divination is part of the witchcraft of Jezebel... Prophecies... God's people are going around in utter confusion because of ungodly prophecies.
The following Scriptures will help you see and understand how divination is being used in the churches and how our Lord feels about these false prophets.
Ezekiel 12:24 "For there shall be no more any false, empty, and fruitless vision or flattering divination in the house of Israel. 25) For I am the Lord; I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall be performed (come to pass); it shall be no more delayed or prolonged for in your days, O rebellious house, I will speak the word and will perform it, says the Lord God."
Ezekiel 13:1-23 "And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2) Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy out of their own mind and heart, Hear the word of the Lord! 3) Thus says the Lord God: Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit [and things they have not seen] and have seen nothing! 4) O Israel, your prophets have been like foxes among ruins and in waste places. 5) You have not gone up into the gaps or breeches, nor built up the wall for the house of Israel that it might stand in the battle in the day of the Lord. 6) They have seen falsehood and lying divination, saying, The Lord says; but the Lord has not sent them. Yet they have hoped and made men to hope for the confirmation of their word. 7) Have you not seen a false vision and have you not spoken a lying divination when you say, The Lord says, although I have not spoken? 8) Therefore thus says the Lord God: Because you have spoken empty, false, and delusive words and have seen lies, therefore behold, I am against you, says the Lord God. 9) And My hand shall be against the prophets who see empty, false, and delusive visions and who give lying prophecies. They shall not be in the secret council of My people, nor shall they be recorded in the register of the house of Israel, nor shall they enter into the land of Israel; and you shall know (understand and realize) that I am the Lord God. 10 Because, even because they have seduced My people, saying, Peace, when there is no peace, and because when one builds a [flimsy] wall, behold, [these prophets] daub it over with whitewash,
11) Say to them who daub it with whitewash that it shall fall! there shall be a downpour of rain; and you, O great hailstones, shall fall, and a violent wind shall tear apart [the whitewashed, flimsy wall]. 12) Behold, when the wall is fallen, will you not be asked, Where is the coating with which you [prophets] daubed it? 13) Therefore thus says the Lord God: I will even rend it with a stormy wind in My wrath, and there shall be an overwhelming rain in My anger and great hailstones in wrath to destroy [that wall]. 14) So will I break down the wall that you have daubed with whitewash and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundations will be exposed; when it falls, you will perish and be consumed in the midst of it. And you will know (understand and realize) that I am the Lord. 15) Thus will I accomplish My wrath upon the wall and upon those who have daubed it with whitewash, and I will say to you, The wall is no more, neither are they who daubed it,
16) The [false] prophets of Israel who prophesied deceitfully about Jerusalem, seeing visions of peace for her when there is no peace, says the Lord God. 17) And you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people who prophesy out of [the wishful thinking of] their own minds and hearts; prophesy against them, 18) And say, Thus says the Lord God: Woe to the women who sew pillows to all armholes and fasten magic, protective charms to all wrists, and deceptive veils upon the heads of those of every stature to hunt and capture human lives! Will you snare the lives of My people to keep your own selves alive? 19) You have profaned Me among My people [in payment] for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, slaying persons who should not die and giving [a guaranty of] life to those who should not live, by your lying to My people, who give heed to lies. 20) Therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against your pillows and charms and veils with which you snare human lives like birds, and I will tear them from your arms and will let the lives you hunt go free, the lives you are snaring like birds.
21) Your [deceptive] veils also will I tear and DELIVER My people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand and to be hunted and snared. Then you shall know (understand and realize) that I am the Lord. 22) Because with lies you have made the righteous sad and disheartened, whom I have not made sad or disheartened, and because you have encouraged and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way and be saved [in that you falsely promised him life]. 23) Therefore you will no more see false visions or practice divinations, and I will DELIVER My people out of your hand. Then you will know (understand and realize) that I am the Lord."
How many times have people who come for DELIVERANCE told you that they tried to talk to their friends and pastors about things that were wrong with them and that they might have a demon and the people just pat them on the back and say, "You're ok, there's nothing wrong with you." This is crying peace, peace when there is no peace.
Ezekiel 21:29 "While they see for you false visions, while they divine lies for you to lay you [of Ammon] upon the headless trunks of those who are slain, of the wicked whose day is coming at the time of the final reckoning and punishment."
Ezekiel 22:28 "And her prophets have daubed them over with whitewash, seeing false visions and divining lies to them, saying, Thus says the Lord God - when the Lord has not spoken."
Deuteronomy 18:14 "For these nations whom you shall dispossess listen to soothsayers and diviners. But as for you, the Lord your God has not allowed you to do so."
1 Samuel 6:2 "And the Philistines called for the priests and the diviners, saying, What shall we do to the ark of the Lord? Tell us with what we shall send it to its place."
I Samuel 28:8 "So Saul disguised himself, put on other raiment, and he and two men with him went and came to the woman at night. He said to her, Perceive for me by the familiar spirit and bring up for me the dead person whom I shall name to you."
How many times have you heard, "IF I COULD JUST GET A WORD FROM THE LORD"?
Is 44:25 "[I am the Lord] Who frustrates the signs and confounds the omens [upon which the false prophets' forecasts of the future are based] of the [boasting] liars and makes fools of diviners, Who turns the wise backward and makes their knowledge foolishness."
Jeremiah 27:9, 10 "So do not listen to your [false] prophets, your diviners, your dreamers [and your dreams, whether your own or others'], your soothsayers, your sorcerers, who say to you, You shall not serve the king of Babylon. 10) For they prophesy a lie to you which will cause you to be removed far from your land; and I will drive you out, and you will perish."
Jeremiah 29:8, 9 "For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Let not your [false] prophets and your diviners who are in your midst deceive you; pay no attention and attach no significance to your dreams which you dream or to theirs, 9) For they prophesy falsely to you in My name. I have not sent them, says the Lord."
Zechariah 10:2 "For the teraphim (household idols) have spoken vanity (emptiness, falsity, and futility) and the diviners have seen a lie and the dreamers have told false dreams; they comfort in vain. Therefore the people go their way like sheep; they are afflicted and hurt because there is no shepherd."
Micah 3:5,7,11,12 "Thus says the Lord: Concerning the false prophets who make My people err, when they have anything good to bite with their teeth they cry, Peace; and whoever gives them nothing to chew, against him they declare a sanctified war. 7) And the seers shall be put to shame and the diviners shall blush and be confounded; yes, they shall all cover their lips, for there is no answer from God. 11) Its heads judge for reward and a BRIBE and its priests teach for HIRE and its prophets divine for MONEY; yet they lean on the Lord and say, Is not the Lord among us? No evil can come upon us. 12) Therefore shall Zion on your account be plowed like a field, Jerusalem shall become heaps [of ruins], and the mountain of the house [of the Lord] like a densely wooded height."
No evil can come upon us... How many times have we heard, "Christians can't have demons.. or .. The devil can't cross the blood line"... and there are other such statements that come from lying demons.
The Lord has made it plain to us that He does not want us to listen to these false prophets. It brings destruction upon us.
If a pastor has told you that you MUST be under a covering of a pastor, beware, this is part of the Jezebel spirit of control and dominance.
If someone gives you a "word from the Lord", be very careful and do not be seduced by divination. Most "Words from the Lord" will confirm to you something that God has been speaking to your heart. Once I received a word that I didn't understand and I just kept in my heart. For the next 3 years I went through a battle with the enemy that almost put me in the hospital with a nervous break down. But the Lord was faithful and during this 3 years was when I came to a DELIVERANCE Minister and began my walk in DELIVERANCE.
After that 3 years I spoke to the same woman that gave me the word and when I said, "Do you remember that word you gave me?" At that moment I understood what the Lord was saying to me in that word. This battle was what the Lord had told me, through this woman, was going to happen and I didn't understand it until that moment.
There are things going on in ministries, especially on television, that we must not be seduced by. False prophets, diviners, control, domination, idolatry, soothsayers, sorcerers, etc., we must be so lead of the Spirit of God that we will know these enemies of God. We must go through DELIVERANCE so that none of these demons will have place in us to deceive and seduce us.
The church as we know it today must turn to DELIVERANCE or they will turn to divination, sorcery and witchcraft. We will either follow JESUS or follow satan.

The Interlinear Bible uses the word slaves instead of servants. "Behold, I have a few things against you, that you allow the woman Jezebel to teach, she saying herself to be a prophetess, and to cause My slaves to go astray, and to commit fornication, and to eat idol sacrifices."
BIND -
The fornications of Jezebel and all her witchcrafts; divination and sorcery; seducing, beguiling and bewitching spirits.
Hard saying John 6:60, 66 "When His disciples heard this, many of them said, This is a hard and difficult and strange saying (an offensive and unbearable message). Who can stand to hear it? [Who can be expected to listen to such teaching?] 66/ After this, many of His disciples drew back (returned to their old associations) and no longer accompanied Him."
SPIRIT OF BAAL - II KINGS 10:28 - "Thus Jehu rooted Baal out of Israel." Ahab and Jezebel is rooted in witchcraft and only the anointing of God roots these demons out. IT TAKES THE ANOINTING OF GOD TO DESTROY AHAB AND JEZEBEL DEMONS: ELIJAH, ELISHA, JEHU WERE ALL ANOINTED BY GOD.
Ahab and the evil he did to provoke the Lord to anger. I Kings 16:29 - 34. "In the thirty-eighth year of Asa king of Judah, Ahab son of Omri began his reign of twenty-two years over Israel in Samaria. 30/ And Ahab son of Omri did evil in the sight of the Lord above all before him. 31/ As if it had been a light thing for Ahab to walk in the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, he took for a wife Jezebel daughter of Ethbaal (favored of Baal) king of the Sidonians, and served Baal and worshiped him. 32/ He erected an altar for Baal in the house of Baal which he built in Samaria. 33/ And Ahab made an Asherah [idolatrous symbol of the goddess Asherah]. Ahab did more to provoke the Lord, the god of Israel, to anger than all the kings of Israel before him. 34/ In his days, Hiel, the Bethelite built Jericho. He laid its foundations at the cost of the life of Abiram his firstborn, and set up its gates with the loss of his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke through Joshua son of Nun. [Joshua 6:26]."
Verse 31 says that he walked in the sins of Jeroboam, son of Nebat. The sins of Jeroboam found in I Kings 11-14 were:
1) His reign was marked by continual warfare with Judah.
2) Jeroboam erected golden calves at Bethel and Dan for Israel's worship.
3)Jeroboam appointed new priests and on occasion he himself officiated at the sacrifices. (This was the duty of the Levites.)
4) He reorganized the calendar and moved the Feasts of Booth to another month. These religious innovations came to typify "the sins of Jeroboam".
THE fornications of Jezebel and her witchcrafts. II Kings 9:22
The commandments were broken and therefore the curse of the drought and famine came as told by Elijah. ELIJAH was "a man that stood before God" - I Kings 17:1 - "Elijah the Tishbite, of the temporary residents of Gilead, said to Ahab, As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, before Whom I stand, there shall not be dew or rain these years but according to My word."
Jezebel killed the prophets of God. I Kings 18:4, 13 "For when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the Lord, Obadiah took a hundred prophets and hid them by fifties in a cave and fed them with bread and water." 13/ "Was it not told my lord what I did when Jezebel slew the prophets of the Lord, how I hid a hundred men of the Lord's prophets by fifties in a cave and fed them with bread and water?"
Elijah killed the prophets of Baal - I Kings 18:17-41 "When Ahab saw Elijah, Ahab said to him, Are you he who troubles Israel? 18/ Elijah replied, I have not troubled Israel, but you have, and your father's house, by forsaking the commandments of the Lord and by following the Baals." 19/ Therefore send and gather to me
all Israel at Mount Carmel, and the 450 prophets of Baal and the 400 prophets of [the goddess] Asherah, who eat at [Queen] Jezebel's table. 20/ So Ahab sent to all the Israelites and assembled the prophets at Mount Carmel. 21/Elijah came near to all the people and said, How long will you halt and limp between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him! But if Baal, then follow him. And the people did not answer him a word. 22/ Then Elijah said to the people, I, I only, remain a prophet of the Lord, but Baal's prophets are 450 men. 23/ Let tow bulls be given us; let them choose one bull for themselves and cut it in pieces and lay it on the wood but put no fire to it. I will dress the other bull, lay it on the wood, and put no fire to it. 24/ Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the Lord; and the One Who answers by fire, let Him be God. And all the people answered, It is well spoken. 25/ Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, Choose one bull for yourselves and dress it first, for you are many; and call on the name of your god, but put no fire under it. 26/ So they took the bull given them, dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning until noon, saying, O Baal, hear and answer us! But there was no voice; no one answered. And they leaped upon or limped about the altar they had made. 27/ At noon Elijah mocked them, saying, Cry aloud, for he is a god; either he is musing, or he has gone aside, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and must be awakened. 28/ And they cried aloud and cut themselves after their custom with knives and lances until the blood gushed out upon them. 29/ Midday passed, and they played the part of prophets until the time for offering the evening sacrifice, but there was no voice, no answer, no one who paid attention. 30/ Then Elijah said to all the people, Come near to me. And all the people came near him. And he repaired the [old] altar of the Lord that had been broken down [by Jezebel]. 31/ Then Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord came, saying, Israel shall be your name. 32/ And with the stone Elijah built an altar in the name [and self-revelation] of the Lord. He made a trench about the altar as great as would contain two measures of seed. 33/ He put the wood in order and cut the bull in pieces and laid it on the wood and said, Fill four jars with water and pour it on the burnt offering and the wood. 34/ And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. 35/ The water ran round about the altar, and he filled the trench also with water. 36/ At the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, Elijah the prophet came near and said, O Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and that I am Your servant and that I have done all these things at Your word. 37/ Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that You, the Lord, are God, and have turned their hearts back[to You]. 38/ Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice and the wood and the stones and the dust, and also licked up the water that was in the trench. 39/ When all the people saw it, they fell on their faces and they said, The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God! 40/ And Elijah said, Seize the prophets of Baal; let not one escape. They seized them, and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and [as God's law required] slew them there. 41/ And Elijah said to Ahab, Go up, eat and drink, for there is the sound of abundance of rain."
Ahab tells Jezebel about all that Elijah had done. She sends word that she would kill Elijah. I Kings 19:1-2 "Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done and how he had slain all the prophets [of Baal] with the sword. 2/ Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not your life as the life of one of them by this time tomorrow. 3/ Then he was afraid and arose and went for his life and came to Beersheba of Judah [over eighty miles, and out of Jezebel's realm] and left his servant there." Elijah is frightened and runs. JEZEBEL SPIRITS WILL CAUSE YOU TO FEAR THEM.
The Lord tells Elijah to anoint Elisha and Jehu. I Kings 19:15-16
AHAB refuses to kill Ben-Hadad according to the Word of God, he has a curse from God and becomes resentful and sullen. I Kings 20: 42 " 43 " And he said to the king, Thus says the Lord: Because you have let go out of your hand the man I had devoted to destruction, therefore your life shall go for his life, and your people for his people. 43/ And King [Ahab] of Israel went to his house resentful and sullen, and came to Samaria." Here he sees Naboth's vineyard and wants it. I Kings 21:4-9 "And Ahab [already depressed by the Lord's message to him] came into his house [more] resentful and sullen because of what Naboth the Jezreelite had said to him; for he had said, I will not give you the inheritance of my fathers. And he lay down on his bed, turned away his face, and would eat no food. 5/ But Jezebel his wife came and said to him, Why is your spirit so troubled that you eat no food? 6/ And he said to her, Because I spoke to Naboth the Jezreelite and said to him, Give me our vineyard for money; or if you prefer, I will give you another vineyard for it. And he answered, I will not give you my vineyard. 7/ Jezebel his wife said to him, Do you not govern Israel? Arise, eat food, and let your heart be happy. I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite. 8/ So she wrote letters in Ahab's name and sealed them with his seal and sent them to the elders and nobles who dwelt with Naboth in his city. 9/ And in the letters she said proclaim a fast and set Naboth up high among the people. 10/ And set two men, base fellows, before him, and let them bear witness against him, saying, You cursed and renounced God and the king. Then carry him out and stone him to death."
Elijah's prophecy of their deaths 21:16-29. 20/ "And Ahab said to Elijah, Have you found me, O my enemy? And he answered, I have found you, because of have sold yourself to do evil in the sight of the Lord. 21/ See [says the Lord], I will bring evil on you and utterly sweep away and cut off from Ahab every male, bond and free, 22/ And will make your household like that of Jeroboam son of Nebat and like the household of Baasha son of Ahijah, for the provocation with which you have provoked Me to anger and made Israel to sin. 23/ Also the Lord said of Jezebel: The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel. 24/ Any belonging to Ahab who dies in the city the dogs shall eat, and any who dies in the field the birds of the air shall eat. 25/ For there was no one who sold himself to do evil in the sight of the Lord as did Ahab, incited by his wife Jezebel."
Ahab hated the prophets of God. I Kings 22:8 "[Ahab] king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micah son of Imlah, by whom we may inquire of the Lord, but I hate him, for he never prophesies good for me, but evil. Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say that."
Death of Ahab I Kings 22:35-38 "The battle increased that day, and [Ahab] the king was propped up in his chariot facing the Syrians, and at nightfall he died. And the blood of his wound flowed onto the floor of the chariot."
Elisha had a double portion of the spirit of God II Kings 2:9
Anointing of Jehu - II Kings 9:1-3 "And Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets and said to him, Gird up your loins, take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead. 2/ When you arrive, look there for Jehu son of Jehoshaphat son of Nimshi; and go in and have him arise from among his brethern and lead him to an inner chamber. 3/ Then take the cruse of oil and pour it on his head and say, Thus says the Lord: I have anointed you king over Israel. Then open the door and flee; do not tarry."
II Kings 9:6 and 7 "And Jehu arose, and they went into the house. And the prophet poured the oil on Jehu's head and said to him, Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: I have anointed you king over the people of the Lord, even over Israel. 7/ You shall strike down the house of Ahab your master, that I may avenge the blood of My servants the prophets and of all the servants of the Lord [who have died] at the hands of Jezebel."
II Kings 9:20 "And the watchman reported, He came to them, but does not return; also the driving is like the driving of Jehu son of Nimshi, for he drives furiously."
II Kings 9:30-36 "Now when Jehu came to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it, and she painted her eyes and beautified her head and looked out of [an upper] window. 31/ And as Jehu entered in at the gates, she said, [Have you come in] peace, you Zimri, who slew his master? 32/ Jehu lifted up his face tot he window and said, Who is on my side? Rebellious children.
Ahab makes a spiritually weak man who leaves the job to the Jezebelic woman.
Divorce is prominent in Ahab and Jezebel marriages.
Ahab hates Jezebel but can not do anything about it.
Jezebel is a controlling and manipulative woman.
Jezebel and Ahab cannot communicate well together.
Ahab has a fear of getting hurt by others.
Ahab has a materialistic drive.
Jezebel is never happy.
Ahab pouts.
Jezebel says "If you loved me you would...."
You should also know that men have become as adept as women in utilizing and developing the power to manipulate and control people.

Jezebellic forces do their most deadly and telling damage when they are able to work covertly, undetected.
Women should have a meek and quite spirit. I Peter 3:1-6 Verse 4 "But let it be the inward adorning and beauty of the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible and unfading charm of a gentle and peaceful spirit, which [is not anxious or wrought up, but] is very precious in the sight of God."
JEZEBEL AND AHAB IN THE CHURCH
Ahab congregation does not study the Word of God for themselves but trust in the leaders to tell them what the Word says. They allow themselves to be bewitched and seduced by Jezebel leaders.
Control through false teachings and the use of occult power.
Rev. 2:20 "But I have this against you: that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess [claiming to be inspired], and who is teaching and leading astray my servants and beguiling them into practicing sexual vice and eating food sacrificed to idols."
Jezebel uses the excuse of "good motives" to operate in the church. However, this demon spirit operates through the mind and ego of the sorcerer and is carried out by spirits of witchcraft.
Mind control spirits work to subject the mind, emotions, will and body to the control and whims of the sorcerer.
Jezebel operated in "spiritual whoredom" when she persuaded Ahab to allow her to usurp authority in the Kingdom and had Naboth killed. I Kings 21:4-10, 20, 25; II Kings 9:22
Rev. 2:21-23 thoughts, feelings, and purposes were declared wrong in the sight of God. "I gave her time to repent, but she has no desire to repent, of her immorality [symbolic of idolatry] and refuses to do so. 22/ Take note: I will throw her on a bed [of anguish], and those who commit adultery with her [jer paramours] I will bring down to pressing distress and severe affliction, unless they turn away their minds from conduct [such as] hers and repent of their doings. 23/ And I will strike her children (her proper followers) dead [thoroughly exterminating them]. And all the assemblies (churches) shall recognize and understand that I am He Who searches minds (the thoughts, feelings, and purposes) and the [inmost] hearts, and I will give to each of you [ the reward for what you have done] as your work deserves."
Jezebel wants to become the center of worship and attention - demands obedience to their every command.
Knowingly or unknowingly sorcery is always used to bring worship and adoration to the sorcerer.
The more spiritually minded a church grows, the more dangerous is the operation of the Jezebel spirits.

Most of us have heard or read about Jezebel, but I have always found her to be very interesting. I believe today she is operating more than ever in our churches. I, myself, have dealt with her in different situations and will share those as we go. We, as a church, can no longer tolerate or allow her to operate. God is not allowing us to be ignorant any longer. What I believe a lot of leaders do is pretend they don't hear God or they have blinders on and refuse to see. That way they don't have to obey what He says to do or don't have to confront what they can't see .. . . I know, I was there.
Jezebel is sitting in our churches secretly undermining and controlling, and because leaders are afraid of confrontation, she is getting away with it. Just as she was in the church at Thyatira in Revelation 2:18 (KJS), "And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet [are] like fine brass; 19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last [to be] more than the first." As you read in these scriptures, we notice that this church did the things they were supposed to do. They had works; they had charity, which is love; and they were servants--a very important quality. They had faith, that's good; and patience is also something very important. (Hey! what if the Lord told you that you had patience?) All good stuff, all things needed and valuable for every church.
But notice the next thing He says. He again brings up their works, and He said their works are more now than at first. They had become a church of works. What happens when a church has a works mentality? They leave out the Spirit. They get so busy with doing, that they don't hear what the Spirit is saying. Without the Spirit, there is no discernment. Revelations 2:20 (KJS), "Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols." They suffereth that woman Jezebel. The word sufferest means to let alone, to allow, permit, to not restrain. She was allowed to do whatever she wanted. She was free and unrestrained in that she was even allowed to teach; and by not confronting Jezebel, they also allowed her to seduce--to lead others away from the truth into fornication. I do not believe the Lord was just talking here of prostituting one's body to the lust of another. The fornication was that they were given to idolatry to worship idols--fornication of the Spirit. To eat things offered to idols was an abomination. This was flesh left over from the heathen sacrifices. To eat it was to be defiled. Jezebel had those who worshipped idols sit at her table. She was in control of 850 false prophets.
She called herself a prophetess, an avid liar, convincing people of her illegitimate power. They believed what she said and obviously accepted it. She knew what she was doing. Revelations 2:21 (KJS), "And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds." God's grace is something that I personally don't understand, but His love for us goes way beyond anything we could ever do. As we can see here, repentance was even for her, but she refused. She as then judged along with those who committed adultery with her.
We had once ministered in a church and the pastor had asked me if I could discern if a certain person in his church was a Jezebel. He had been concerned and had even called the former pastor of this person about them. The former pastor had said that this person had been a witch before they had come to the Lord. So the next night I had an opportunity to meet this person and I knew by the Spirit that they were operating out of a Jezebel spirit. The Pastor then asked them if they would like some ministry and we could minister deliverance to them, and they agreed. By this time, this person had been allowed to minister and pray for others in the church, and was admired by many people for their anointing. So we arranged a time to minister to them. In the ministry time the Lord began, by the Spirit of God, to uncover the plan of the enemy, and a real confrontation of witchcraft begin to take place. This person was not just operating out of a spirit of Jezebel, but was also operating in divination and out of witchcraft. They would minister to people, not through the Spirit of God, but through the spirit of divination. They had a tremendous gift of seer, but it was coming from the divination. So we recommended to the Pastor that for a year, until they got sufficient healing and deliverance, this person was not to pray for anyone, and if they would not submit to this, then they needed to be asked to leave the church. It was a volatile situation, and this person had already infiltrated and influenced several people. We then left this church, believing the situation was taken care of. We then returned 7 months later to find out that this person had refused to comply with the leaders' request of stepping down, and that they had remained and were allowed to continue to pray and counsel people in this church. They had left the church and moved out of town a month before our return. The Lord began to speak to me and gave me a prophetic word for this Pastor. I read it to him out of Revelations 2:20. He had allowed, tolerated Jezebel. The Lord began to show that the enemy's purpose for her being there had been fulfilled. In the Spirit I could see this spirit planting seeds of Jezebel in the heart of different individuals in this church. I could see that a full crop of Jezebels were going to come forth. The Pastor's lack of confrontation and obedience was going to cause him to reap a disaster in his church. What the Pastor did not realize was that when he refused to confront Jezebel, he exposed his flock to this spirit. The Lord said the Pastor needed to repent and if he did, God would send a shower of His presence that would destroy every seed. The Pastor did repent, and we believe restoration has come.
What we must understand is that we are dealing with the flesh, and a spirit. Jezebel is a product of the flesh that opens the door to an evil spirit. In Galatians 5:20, witchcraft is a work of the flesh. It is a behavior that operates through an individual to control by the use of manipulation, intimidation, and domineering actions. This spirit desires to rule and control the people of God. It appeals to the pride in us. A spirit with a purpose, and that is to stop God's plans. We as leaders cannot tolerate something so destructive as Jezebel. We are not to go out accusing everyone of having a Jezebel spirit, but are to know by the Spirit. We must have discernment as leaders and then the courage to confront. A Jezebel has absolutely no regard for Godly authority. She operates in an exact contrast to the will of God. She will steal authority by lies and distortions; and along the side of this spirit is also the religious spirit. They go hand in hand.
Many leaders today would rather tolerate Jezebel than allow a Prophet of God into their churches, but it was the very Prophet of God who destroyed Jezebel. Its desire is to paralyze the prophetic flow of God. Jezebels are flourishing in churches; hidden, doing damage because of the fear of the prophetic. Just like on Mount Carmel, where the Spirit of God confronted the spirit of Baal.
Fire was called down, and with it brought death to the idol worshipers and their false gods. The Prophets of God are called to destroy the Jezebels. Why did you think Jezebel hated Elijah so much? She wanted him killed. It hates the prophetic flow of God because the prophetic ministry demands repentance and surrendering of the self-will, and cuts away evil with confrontation. She hates the non-compromising voice of a prophet. The prophet brings people back to the cross and back to holiness. It cannot accomplish its plan with a prophet around. Jezebel hates repentance, prayer, humility and it opposes righteousness and the message of the cross. God waits for someone to stand up to it--to confront it. Many leaders look at it and say "well, they are working hard in the church." They appear to be supporting leadership. Underneath its mask is a driving force of rebellion and witchcraft. A great weakness of leadership is the fear of confrontation. Leadership just waits and hopes it goes away, or that person moves to another church. Even if Jezebel stays for a short time, that is all that is needed to plant its evil seeds.
Let me share some facts about Jezebel and its bad character. There will be:
-Control
-Manipulation
-Intimidation
-Rebellion
-Pride
-Hate
-Unsubmitted (but appears to be submitted)
-Liar
-Sows discord and seditions
-Undermines authority
-Religious (appears to be loyal and faithful, but only to accomplish its purpose)
-Cannot admit wrong, always someone else's fault
-Unrepentant
-False humility
-Fear
-Considers themselves to be important
-Uses deception and deceit
-Works witchcraft
Many of these things will not be evident until after a period of time. The Word of God says in Matthew 7:15-16 (KJS), "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits." I believe the fruit here is the character of a man or woman. Many leaders see some small character flaws, but because of their great need for leadership in their church, they will put them into leadership positions that God did not intend for them to be in. They have not been proven. Someone's bad character or root of rebellion or a spirit of Jezebel can bring destruction to a church or body.
We had joined a church and began to get involved, then started going to their caregroup/kinship group. This particular one had a leader who had been a witch before he came to the Lord. Since his salvation experience, he had not gotten any healing or deliverance. He was not operating through witchcraft, but the spirits were bringing great oppression and heaviness upon him, which in turn, brought it upon the group he was leading. This family ended up leaving the church and taking others with them. This Pastor had put this man into leadership and ignored what checks he was getting in the Spirit.
He needed leadership desperately and that desperation drove him to make a decision that was not ordained by God.
We, as leaders, need the help of the Holy Spirit desperately. We must not go on what we see in the natural, but only be led by the Spirit of God. We get ourselves into messes and then pray and cry out to God to get us out, and He does so many times. We must grow up into maturity as leaders. Hebrews 5:14 (NIV) says, "But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. We, as leaders, must be trained by the Spirit of God to discern good from evil. We can no longer be babies and be leaders.

God's true ones do not depart from God and He never departs from them. But others who never were truly His leave Him at the first sign of trouble and difficulty. They are not like Abraham who gave up all to follow God to a new land and when He arrived in the land there was a famine there. God's word records:
Abram passed through the land to the place of Shechem, as far as the terebinth tree of Moreh. And the Canaanites were then in the land. Then the LORD appeared to Abram and said, "To your descendants I will give this land." And there he built an altar to the LORD, who had appeared to him. And he moved from there to the mountain east of Bethel, and he pitched his tent with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; there he built an altar to the LORD and called on the name of the LORD. So Abram journeyed, going on still toward the South.
Now there was a famine in the land, and Abram went down to Egypt to dwell there, for the famine was severe in the land. Genesis 12:6-10
Abraham stood on the promises of God even when circumstances said it was impossible and not true and his wife was in danger of being stolen by others. God's word records:
And it came to pass, when he was close to entering Egypt, that he said to Sarai his wife, "Indeed I know that you are a woman of beautiful countenance. "Therefore it will happen, when the Egyptians see you, that they will say, 'This is his wife'; and they will kill me, but they will let you live. "Please say you are my sister, that it may be well with me for your sake, and that I may live because of you." So it was, when Abram came into Egypt, that the Egyptians saw the woman, that she was very beautiful. The princes of Pharaoh also saw her and commended her to Pharaoh. And the woman was taken to Pharaoh's house. He treated Abram well for her sake. He had sheep, oxen, male donkeys, male and female servants, female donkeys, and camels.
But the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram's wife. And Pharaoh called Abram and said, "What is this you have done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife? "Why did you say, 'She is my sister'? I might have taken her as my wife. Now therefore, here is your wife; take her and go your way." So Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him; and they sent him away, with his wife and all that he had. Genesis 12:11-20
The Lord Himself always protects His own even when they are in the deserts of life or in the midst of their enemies. . Those who are truly His. He is here with them, right now, in the present time of life. He will not forsake or deny or judge them. But He will bless and have upheld them among their enemies. For His word is true:
But the wicked shall perish; And the enemies of the LORD, Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish. Into smoke they shall vanish away. The wicked borrows and does not repay, But the righteous shows mercy and gives. For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, But those cursed by Him shall be cut off. The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the LORD upholds him with His hand.
I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed. Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell forevermore. For the LORD loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell in it forever. The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, And his tongue talks of justice. Psalm 37:20-30
Now Jesus was never shocked nor dismayed at the fact that there would be those who would say they are His and do many things as though they were His own but would not be His. God's word records:
"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' Matthew 7:21-23
As a matter of fact this happened even in Jesus ministry when He told the truth, there were those who could not stand the truth. Those who had selfish and hidden agenda's of their own which Jesus would not fulfill. What attracted many followers was the miracles that Jesus performed like feeding thousands with five barley loaves and two small fish. They even wanted make Him King. God's word records:
Therefore when Jesus perceived that they were about to come and take Him by force to make Him king, He departed again to the mountain by Himself alone John 6:15
On the following day, when the people who were standing on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except that one which His disciples had entered, and that Jesus had not entered the boat with His disciples, but His disciples had gone away alone-however, other boats came from Tiberias, near the place where they ate bread after the Lord had given thanks- when the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, nor His disciples, they also got into boats and came to Capernaum, seeking Jesus. And when they found Him on the other side of the sea, they said to Him, "Rabbi, when did You come here?"
Jesus answered them and said, "Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. "Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him." Then they said to Him, "What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?" John 6:22-28
The people sought Jesus because He fed them and they wanted to do the works of God. They like many others of this generation did not want God but only to do the works of God. So when Jesus told them the truth about Himself and His father they could not understand nor accept His words that: "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. "Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. "For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. "As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. "This is the bread which came down from heaven-not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever." These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum. Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, "This is a hard saying; who can understand it?" John 6:53-61
Many of the disciples of Jesus complained and were offended at the words of Jesus because it conflicted with the material realm that they lived in. The realm of prominence, riches and fame with its lust for money and power. They wanted Jesus for their physical world and He was talking about the spiritual world. Little did they know the Spiritual world was more real and lasting than their present world. But they could not accept this idea nor the words of Jesus and did not understand the importance of the Holy Spirit. God's word records:
When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them, "Does this offend you? "What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. "But there are some of you who do not believe." For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. And He said, "Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father." From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. John 6:61--66
Now those who seek after material and worldly things especially riches, wealth and power miss the realm of the Spirit. They miss the words of Jesus who said: "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. "Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." John 3;5-9
Those who are born of the Spirit follow the things of the Spirit. They live and walk in the Spirit. While those who are born of the flesh live and talk in the flesh. Those of the flesh are carnal, sensual and devilish and God's word of them is true:
Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh. Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. John 3:11-17
Partiality. hypocrisy, envy, boastfulness, arrogance, pride self seeking and lying are the fruits and by products of those who walk in the flesh and not in the Spirit. What is in them and what controls them comes out in the conduct and deeds no matter what they say with their words. Such as these have strayed from the faith even thought they say the love the Lord and are called by His name. But in their foolishness and pride they miss the word of God which states: Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:6-12
The false ones who call themselves Christians and live the those of the world are like the poor soil that Jesus talked about which fall are when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word or are choked by the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches:
"When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. "But he who received the seed on stony
places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; "yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. "Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. "But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty." Mathew 13:19-23
For life is more than being born, growing up, having an education, getting a job, being married, raising a family and then dying at a ripe old age. For if that is all there is to life we might as well drink our self out of our minds and dance till the cows to come. For after a while all of this gets to be quite boring, dull and repetitive. There must be more life than just wine and songs and pleasure and entertainment. There must be a master plan, a noble purpose, a great goal, an exciting challenge and some one to coach, lead, guide, and sustain us through all of this.
Man on his own is limited is limited. His wisdom and understanding is flawed and restricted. He is not able to heal himself of Cancer or other diseases and sickness and needs another source such as the Master Creator and God of the entire universe.
A God who is a mystery but wants to be an intimate mystery to His creation. Who desires to teach and lead man into a much, much greater knowledge of Himself and all the things that He desires for man. A good God wants more for His creation than they desire for themselves; including health, prosperity, abundance, kingdoms, power and dominion both here on earth and in heaven. Just for the asking and total surrender of those with humble hearts to the rule and kingdom of the King of Kings brings about unlimited riches and blessing both in this life and in the life to come. For God's word is true:
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive. Jeremiah 29:11-14
God will be found by those who will see Him with all their heart. He will bring them back from their captivity and do great things for them and bless them beyond deepest desires and dreams. All of this starts and comes about from an intimate pure relationship with the Creator God who guides those who are easily lead by Him. His word is true:
Therefore he said to Judah, "Let us build these cities and make walls around them, and towers, gates, and bars, while the land is yet before us, because we have sought the LORD our God; we have sought Him, and He has given us rest on every side." So they built and prospered. 2 Chronicles 14:7
For the shepherds have become dull-hearted, And have not sought the LORD; Therefore they shall not prosper, And all their flocks shall be scattered. Jeremiah 10:21
Those who run their own show and are led by what men have to say rather than what God's really has to say to them, will miss the boat of the best of everything that God has to offer. They don't have anything and they never will until they humble themselves and surrender totally to Him.
Such individuals must return to God and humble themselves and ask for forgiveness, grace, mercy and change. God forgives only the truly humble individual. If a person is not humble from His heart God already knows that so the exercise of talking to God and being religious is a waste of time. For God gives grace to the humble and resists the proud. Men make their choices and suffer the resulting consequences both good and bad.
