Luke 10:19BEHOLD, I GIVE UNTO YOU POWER (Delegated Authority) TO TREAD ON SERPENTS AND SCORPIONS (Demonic Angels and Spirits) AND OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY (The Kingdom Of Evil) AND NOTHING SHALL BY ANY MEANS HURT YOU. (POWER - TREAD - NOTHING).
CORRUPTING BEGUILING SUBTLE SERPENT
Gen. 3:1Now the serpent was more subtil (crafty) than any beast of the field which THE LORD GOD had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath GOD said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Gen. 3:2And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Gen. 3:4And the serpent said unto the woman. Ye shall not surely die:
Gen. 3:13And THE LORD GOD said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled (cheated, outwitted and deceived) me, and I did eat.
Gen. 3:14And THE LORD GOD said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field, upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
2 Cor. 11:3But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled (cunning) Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted (seduced) from the simplicity that is in CHRIST.
FIERY SERPENT WORSHIP
Num. 21:8And THE LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
Num. 21:9And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
2 Kings 18:4He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.

SERPENT TONGUES

SERPENT BITES
Ecc. 10:11Surely the serpent will bite without enchantment (charming); and a babbler (slanderer) is no better.

Isa. 27:1 In that day THE LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan the crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
DRAGON DEVIL SATAN SERPENT
Rev. 12:9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Rev. 12:15And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
Rev. 20:2And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.
COMMENTS
We have power to tread on serpents and scorpions (Demonic Angels and Spirits) and over all the power of the enemy (The Kingdom Of Evil) and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Power - Tread - Nothing). We have Delegated Authority over Demonic Angels and Spirits, and over The Kingdom Of Evil which includes Satan, fallen angels and demons.
The Serpent is the Dragon, Devil, Satan. He wants to be worshiped like GOD. He is corrupting, beguiling, subtle, fiery, sharp, poisoning, piercing, crooked. He is crafty, cheating, smart, deceiving, cunning, seducing, charming, slandering.
The worship of snakes (serpents) is found in many religions because the snakes represent Satan and his characteristics. There are evil spirits of snakes such as leviathan and other names of those serpents worshiped.
